We are in an attractive stand-alone one story office building in a residential community.
Greet
You will meet your therapist.
You will share your name address, phone, email, and provide a random urine drug screen. What you can expect from us and what we expect from you will be carefully explained and signed.
Plan
Together, with your therapist, you will discuss your using, cravings, withdrawals, relapses, triggers, medical, emotional, relationship, job, financial issues, problems, needs and goals.
Your diagnoses are discussed and an entirely individual unique treatment program is designed just for you with available options. Counseling and medications with what steps you are to take are clearly outlined. Depending on the severity of your problems, the visit may last from 15 to 75 minutes.

Additional outside group support and counseling.
If additional outside group support and counseling, or 12 step after group, is needed, advice and referral may be made. The pharmacy of your choice receives an email prescription, receipt for your services is provided for insurance reimbursement to you.

After graduating with a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Arizona, Heather received her Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner MSN at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota.
Heather has extensive experience in inpatient and outpatient settings. She diagnoses and treats people with addictions and serious and persistent mental illnesses; high-risk detoxification patients; and those with complex medical, chemical, and mental health needs.
As a specialist in MAT, Heather supports each patient through a safe detox and provides the comprehensive mental health care needed to maintain a successful recovery. She also has experience treating people with a wide range of mental health disabilities, including personality disorders and intellectual disabilities.
In addition to being an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), Heather is certified to provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and holds an X waiver. The X waiver is a license allowing her to prescribe buprenorphine to outpatients as part of their MAT detox from an opioid use disorder.
Before becoming a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, Heather proudly served as a sergeant in the US Army, where she received medic training. She remains active in the US Army National Guard.
